Water Links
A Canada-wide water strategy requires a coordinated and adaptive approach to the management of Canadian freshwater resources. It must empower decision makers and citizens to be socially and environmentally responsible at the watershed scale.
The development of a Canada-wide water strategy needs to be inclusive and engage a diverse range of actors including all levels of government, First Nations, civil society organizations, watershed groups, the business community, and citizens.
As the concern for water security grows, an increasing number of non-government organizations, academic institutions and government agencies are becoming involved in the ongoing water policy discussion. Click on the following categories to find links to some of these groups.
